BrightGen is delighted to become an Early Access Partner for Admissions Connect, the new university admissions product in UK

Salesforce, the number one CRM, has chosen BrightGen, a premium Salesforce.org partner, as an Early Access Partner to implement the newest addition to the Education Cloud family – Admissions Connect. The product, launched in March 2021, helps universities streamline their admissions process and makes it easier to enhance engagement to serve prospective students.

The UK government has committed to raise the UK’s total investment in R&D to 2.4% of GDP by 2027, the biggest increase on record. Along with the newly-established Office for Talent, the UK’s ambition is to become the top destination for international talent.

Using Salesforce.org’s solutions, BrightGen offers to bridge the gap for those universities looking to widen the net for recruitment and admissions, from home and abroad.

Impacting international talent

There is growing demand for international students among universities. Benefiting from higher student fees is of course one advantage. But more importantly, when the best international students from around the world access a UK university, it is also a boost for the university’s reputation.

Salesforce.org chose BrightGen as an Early Access Partner for Admissions Connect, because of its experience and knowledge of recruitment and admissions. Mark Tonkin, Higher Education Lead at BrightGen, “is excited to implement Admissions Connect in the UK as part of a wider solution when it comes to attracting the best students”.

Admissions Connect is already being rolled out in the USA, where the University of Colorado is looking to build engagement opportunities for their future students and families. They believe Salesforce.org and Education Cloud will “more seamlessly support students from initial interest and enrolment to graduation”.

Huge opportunity for UK universities

BrightGen sees Admissions Connect helping university admissions teams streamline their admissions processes. Students and staff will be able to engage more easily, which BrightGen believes will enable faster response times – improving the candidate’s experience.

Mark Tonkin: “Using Admissions Connect to streamline engagement with students via chatbots and dynamic checklists, we will see more candidates stick with the admissions process through to enrolment. With the added efficiencies the product brings, we predict huge savings for universities in using this.”

BrightGen is in discussions with universities now to start rolling out this new tool from Salesforce this year.

You can join our online discussion, where BrightGen’s Education Lead, Mark Tonkin, will be discussing the recruitment & admissions process with Admissions Connect leader, Corey Snow & University of Colorado representative on 29th April. Details coming soon.
