BrightMEDIA brings all of those things together in key areas like ad operations. A queue-based module for digital fulfilment which brings all of your teams together, from sales to finance. Using the collaboration tools available such as Chatter, teams can see everything in one place. Sales can see if finance has raised an invoice yet, or finance can ask more questions of sales – all instantly and in one place.
BrightMEDIA helps you bring together your organisation’s technology stack. In short, increased collaboration at a lower cost and lower effort.
BrightMEDIA enables sales to create their digital line items with all the key features, such as targeting and presets. It integrates with ad servers like Google’s GAM 360 and has full bi-directional features. This lets you see what you are serving, report on what you are delivering, and bill on what you delivered. You can see how much of your revenue you have for a particular item, all available to everyone in BrightMEDIA.
With the rise of programmatic direct, many publishers want to book these in a way that ensures yield is reportable. Publishers need to ensure revenue is allocated to not only the agency or exchange, but also the advertiser. BrightMEDIA allows salespeople to add programmatic buys to any order. The system is fully integrated with the ad server so the whole process is straightforward and easy. Fulfilment line items are pulled back into BrightMEDIA and reporting is easily accessible through the Salesforce platform.
Senior management needs to understand committed revenue (revenue recognition) by platform, brand or user. Getting this across the financial periods is essential for a true representation of the sales picture.
This sales picture allows sales teams to react to changes and to identify whether the trend is on track to its target. Everyone needs to know whether the pipeline matches that of the committed (running) orders.
In BrightMEDIA, the revenue can be sliced and diced by product, salesperson, category and more. In addition, it can be displayed to inform sales or senior management at a click of a button.
Automate fulfilment with BrightMEDIA’s direct page planning integration to Journal Designer and MediaPlanner for print advertising.
Without leaving Salesforce, BrightMEDIA allows:
- Production staff to chase copy and collaborate with other teams.
- Publishers to manage and approve items to be sent to the ad server
- Publishers to work on multiple items at once

How BrightMEDIA works
BrightMEDIA, in conjunction with the Salesforce Platform and optional middleware, offers SOAP or REST API integration to external systems such as finance and integration. For digital fulfilment, BrightMEDIA supports key ad servers such as GAM360 with bi-directional features. This gives sales a view of actuals, and finance the ability to invoice based on actuals.
Connect to other fulfilment systems such as page planning systems (MediaPlanner, Journal Designer) to reduce the manual steps involved in this process. As soon as the line item has been committed, it’s available to be placed and planned.
Connect Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Quickbooks, Sage and Workday to streamline the order-to-billing process for your campaigns. This can be invoiced within BrightMEDIA or can be transferred into connected systems, either directly, or via middleware such as Jitterbit or Mulesoft. BrightGen’s consultants work with you to identify the best solution for your needs.
